DRASH is internationally recognized as an exceptional integration of shelter, utilities, communications and tactical mobility.
A Total System Solution
DRASH shelters are available in six different series and include 52 different models of various lengths and widths. Though current shelter offerings range in size from 109 to 1,250 square feet, all DRASH shelters can interconnect to increase operational space as needed.
DRASH shelters can also be integrated with a full line of supporting accessories and equipment to create a customized field facility designed to meet your unique needs. DRASH Utility Support Transport (UST) Trailers allow for an integrated support system that provides mobility, power and/or environmental control to any DRASH shelter.
Other accessories include power distribution unit (PDU) boxes, fluorescent lighting systems, wiring packages and portable heating units.
DRASH shelters can also be equipped with Deployable Command and Control Equipment (DC2E) - a line of portable audio-visual equipment that joins various feeds of information onto a single display system to allow users to view images from across the battlefield or incident scene.
Most DRASH equipment can be modified to international specifications as required.
Use and Deployment
DRASH has been deployed around the world as command and control centers, rapidly deployable medical treatment facilities, life support areas, and maintenance and logistical support facilities.
Already in extensive use throughout the U.S. Military, DRASH was named part of the U.S. Army’s Standard Integrated Command Post System in 2008.
DRASH has also been deployed by the armed forces of Austria, Japan, Italy, Poland, Romania, Spain, Turkey and the United Kingdom.
In the United States, Non-Department of Defense and commercial customers include the FBI Hostage Rescue Team, Crisis Response Unit and Evidence Recovery Teams, the Department of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, the National Disaster Medical System, and many federal, state and local organizations in the U.S.
Currently, more than 17,000 DRASH shelters and over 7,500 trailers have been deployed worldwide.
